Thank you for taking an interest in Pure Balance Accounting and for wanting to learn a little more about us and how we can help you with your business.

Pure Balance Accounting was established in 2018, following the acquisition of the practice I was then working at.  My goal has always been to run my own practice, so when the opportunity presented itself, I was scared, but I knew it was the right path for me.

I have been working as an accountant since 2004.  It’s been an interesting career journey and I hope that makes me able to appreciate business from a range of different perspectives.

Accountancy wasn’t a first career choice for me - I started out working in advertising and marketing.  This still interests me to this day and plays to my creative side.  I didn’t realise back then, that figures would be a strength too - until I found myself working as a Funding Manager in education and really loving it.  

I have always been very focused and hard-working in my career, from travelling all over the country working as an Auditor for KPMG LLP to then coming back to work for a local accountancy practice.

Since establishing Pure Balance Accounting I have come to realise that when you run your own business, the usual rules of work-life balance don’t really apply - as your business is a significant part of your life. It’s just a process of finding the best way to manage all of your responsibilities and preserve your own wellbeing at the same time.

So, it got me thinking about that too - hence Pure Balance Wellbeing - our collaboration with a range of wellbeing experts that can help you to stay on track in business and in life.

I really do love helping businesses flourish and so I guess it does, and has been part of the journey leading to where we are now.

It’s the part of running Pure Balance that I enjoy the most - helping members to achieve their dreams. It motivates me to help you to be proactive and set meaningful targets, helping you to achieve success in both your business and personal life.
